“I don’t understand how everyone isn’t here right now in the streets demanding that this ends.” Thousands of Londoners took part in Tuesday’s protest to voice their condemnation of Israel’s war on Gaza and the complicity of western countries following two deadly Israeli strikes on camps for displaced Palestinians in and near Rafah. A Palestinian official said an Israeli strike on a camp west of Rafah killed at least 21 people after a similar strike on Sunday killed 45, sparking global outrage.
