@adders I don't see much evidence that they will. The top 10% of emitters (most in the US and Canada are in this group) will just contiune living. Some will claim to care but won't actually make it a priority. They'll moan about the increase of wildfires and the smoke it brings. And complain about rising insurance rates because of the increase of disasters.

But at the same time they won't be bothered to actually change or restrict their own behaviors. Won't protest or act in any meaningful way.

I don't like being negative about it but realistically, I don't see much evidence to the contrary.
