They did it-Apple is moving to Intel!

Wow. I suppose I'm not that surprised. Perhaps it's just shock settling in.

Update: This post by Todd Dominey over at What Do I Know is about one of the best I've seen regarding Apple's Intel switch. I completely agree with his suggestion that Apple's ability to maintain two versions of five cycles of the OS X operating system is nothing short of stunning. Also consider, as they transitioned from 9 to 10 they also transitioned to Intel! Absolutely fantastic especially when compared to the mess Microsoft has on its hands with the 5+ year transition from XP to Longhorn on the same architecture.
