Bush's plan for perpetual war

George Orwell was correct when he said war is not meant to be won.
Over/Spun notes:

What's scary about Bush's recent claims that Iran, not Iraq, may have been linked to 9/11 is that he gave us the blueprint for his perpetual war in his "Axis of Evil" speech -- Iraq, Iran, North Korea. (Notably lacking are countries like Sudan, where a few people could use our help.) Does anyone actually believe Bush is seeking peace? His plans seem more like The Onion T-shirt: "End racism. Kill everyone." If you believe you're going to heaven, why not?

The problem is not Bush as much as it is the machine... the nation state. As long as we have the structure we will have a system which is based on violence and which commits international terrorism. It's not just Bush and the U.S. The nation state lends itself to such policy. If you're interested check out Noam Chomsky who has discussed this matter at length over the years.

U.S. citizens and humnas generally need to ask the question: What kind of world do we want?
