At the ocean

I'm on the beach again... yeah!! Actually the sunset is due in about thirty minutes. This will be short but I really wanted to mention what we saw today. This morning from the city pier we saw a shark from 40 feet in the air. Not as close as I would like though it was neat because it came up to the surface several times so we got a pretty good look. Then during a walk along the shore we saw a baby hammerhead shark!! It was just 10 feet from the shore and would come in even closer at moments. I was able to step out into the water and for a moment I was just two feet away from it... fantastic. This went on for maybe five minutes before it swam out beyond sight.

Oh, and it was maybe 2 feet long... fairly young I suppose.
