Apple’s iBook Logic Board Repair Program

Apple has created a Repair Extension Program for owners of iBooks manufactured between May 2002 and April 2003. The program will cover Logic Board repairs for three years after “the first retail sale of the unit.”

Good for Apple. This is great news. Of course they still need to check to verify repairs before sending a computer back to the owner. I know of at least one case in which this was not done.

Let’s hope they continue to improve.
