Had an opportunity to share a view of the Orion Nebula through the telescope last night. Sharing astronomy is always great fun.

Downhill
There was a moment in the early years of the universe when all of spacetime was a plasma. Particles and light had not yet gone their own way. Then they split.
It's been downhill ever since.
Eternity
I stretch forward
Pushing through time.
Eternity.
A solar system long gone.
A sun burned dim.
Humans long now just a memory.
In space.
Lives once deemed important.
Faded.
Moments now echoes in time.
