Murray Bookchin died on Sunday, August 30 2006 at 85. I met him back in 1992 at the Institute for Social Ecology. He was my introduction to anarchism and his works had a huge impact on my understanding of the world as well as the direction of my activism.
Brian Tokar has a great post about Murray over at Counter Punch.

Thanks for your comment on my entry on Murray’s life. I like what your doing. Alot of similarities in purpose. I like the way you organize your links. I’m going to check out your links I’m unfamiliar with and organize similarly on my blog.
Peace,
Alan
